A child’s laugh going down a slide,
The back and forth of the swing,
Climbing up the ladder,
Looking out to see everything.
Sunlight heating the metal,
Hiding below in the shade,
Playing and screaming and running,
The moments of childhood made.
A hug and a kiss from a daughter,
The smile of joy and delight,
Watching with true adoration,
All in the world that is right.
